It starts with a vision...

For me, clothing has always been an inroad to the divine. Since I was a mini starseed playing with Bratz dolls, I sensed there was something uniquely special, and even spiritual, about the process of adorning my body to reflect my inner divinity. I grew up in the dry desert climate of Tohono O’odham territory (also known as Southeast Arizona) in a family that deeply valued Mother Earth and her gifts. When I came to learn of the environmental harm that is caused by the fashion and body care industries, I felt called to create products that honor the source they came from, as well as the person using them.

When I moved to The Big Island of Hawai’i for 2.5 years, my process transformed. Living in a community where the culture was centered around environmental respect influenced all aspects of my life, from the materials I wore to the products I put on my skin. Through deepening my relationship with natural healing, my creative process evolved into new forms. It was here that I began to create clothing using organic fabric and natural clothing dyes. The culture encouraged my designs to be more wild, free, show a little more skin, and most of all have fun. Hawai’i also brought out a new creative expression in me, body care.

Prior to moving to Hawai’i, I struggled with Eczema for 10 years. After countless visits to dermatologists and allergists, I wanted to give up on my skin. When I moved to Hawai’i, I resolved to cut out all skin care and food with ingredients I couldn’t pronounce— I went to my kitchen and got to work on natural body care products for sensitive skin. Today I am eczema free, and I delight in the testimonials I receive from others struggling with eczema who tell me what a difference it has made for them to cut out the fake stuff and return to Mother Nature’s healing remedies.

The clothing and body care I create has always started with a Vision:

Vision to create clothing that empowers everyone it touches— from plant kin to human,

Vision to heal the body with the support and respect of Mother Earth, and

Vision to weave a legacy of creativity, healing, and unity that is made to last.
